Winterflower blueberry farm is in the southwest corner of Oregon. The farm is located 5-1/2 miles up the north bank Chetco river road. While picking some of the best blueberries and raspberries in the area you can also enjoy the beauty of the countryside. The Chetco river, with it's pristine clear waters and wonderful redwood and myrtlewood groves is a great place to adventure. Camping is only 3 miles away at Loeb State park with full hook-up RV and tent sites and cabins available. Showers and clean rest rooms are provided at the park.
The farm has 1 acre of high bush blueberries with 6 different varieties to extend the picking season. The entire crop is covered by suspended bird netting each year to ensure fully harvestable crops.
WE ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. We expect to open on Tuesday, July 13 for our first picking of 2010.
Remember, blueberries can be frozen to enable "summer savoring" right through the winter!
All of our berries are sold by the container and we supply quart, 1-gallon & 2 gallon containers to use in the fields. However, we encourage you to bring large containers or boxes to carry your berries home.
If you prefer not to pick your own, you can call or e-mail ahead and order your berries. We suggest you allow a week before picking up your berries at our farm.
